My name is Alan Stubbs I was a military policeman in the 2nd Plt. 501st M.P. Co. in Erlangen from July 1981-March 1984 / in the 339th M.P. Co.(Reserve) '84-'87 / in the 25th Chemical Co. Bad Kreuznach Aug.1987-Sept 1990 / and I worked as a civilian for AAFEES in the snack bar '91-'92. I have a daughter and grandson in Erlangen and recently visited in Oct. of 2008. Erlangen is my 2nd home!

MINI COOPER

I remember playing in the MP station when I was little. I believe we left in June of 1982. My father was Steve Herrmann. A few times the guys in the barracks would let us have their rooms so we didn't have to go home whenever my father did the 24 hour duties. I can't remember the guy's name but someone there taught me how to lift finger prints, one guy typed a large school report for me and another use to bring me his wife's books. I really miss the place!

Nice site Alan. I left Erlangen a short time after you got there. I left in December 1981. Was assigned to Bde Headquarters Co. as a wireman. As you did I also loved my time there, and, quite frankly miss the place

sp-4 Alan stubbs, I was stationed with you from Nov 1983-when you left, I believe in 1984.My name is Mike Berquist, then SP-4 Berquist.Our platoon sgt was SFC munn.I remember a few things from those days.You were married to a German gale and you had a daughter.I went over to your apartment and you showed me these big tall Pioneer speakers I think HPM-100's. I left the 501 st mp co. In 1987. Let me know if you remember me.I still remember a few names etc.

There's 3 of us now getting our sites together. The more I go through these sites the better I like them. Everyone has control of their own photos and what's happening on their own little piece of the web. This could be better than the old way if a bunch of us would get in on this.

This would be better than running a roster. We can all post our own photos and thoughts and let everyone know what's going on with us now days. Could run into a lot of old friends a little easier this way.

All of us Ferris Barracks Members would all be linked together. If you see a new face show up, all you would have to do is click on them and you would know in a couple of minutes if you knew them or not.
